Passwords might not be enough to keep your account safe from potential hackers. We recommend setting up Two-Factor Authentication, so that no one else can access your account even if they know your password.
Two-Factor Authentication provides a second layer of security by asking you to enter a code from your smartphone when you log in, so that we know it's really you.
If you are having problems logging in or wish to deactivate the Two-Step Verification, please scroll down to the bottom of this article.
Setting up Two-Factor Authentication only takes a few easy steps:
You can set up 2FA by going to Account > Account Settings > Two-Factor Authentication.
Scan the QR code in your account using your authenticator application, or enter in the secret key manually. When you have finished, enter the one-time password from your application into the "First Code" box below. Wait for the one-time password to change, and then enter the new code into the "Second Code" box below, and click the "Activate" button.
The next time you log in, you will have to enter your password and the dynamic code that the app provides you with at that very moment. You will append the one-time password to the end of your standard password. For example, if your password was "password" and the one-time password on your phone was "123456", you would enter the value "password123456" into the password box on the login screen.
